I’m sure everyone in their family has that one person who believes that they are from Kensington Palace and is a part of “The Royal Family”. If you don’t I feel sorry for you, because it makes your life so much better with that type of imagination! Well, mine so happens to be my sister Amanda, who has also requested we only call her Mandy! (Inserts rolling eyes emoji) She sends me a text requesting I provide her treats and cake for her birthday gathering…The NEXT WEEK! (yeah, Mind-Blowing right!? ) Now I was already booked for the weekend she requested. BUT, what Princess Mandy wants, Princess Mandy gets. Besides she’s my sister so I would have never lived this down.
I’m not sure if you have ever tried my french vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream but if you haven’t you should definitely place an order. The combination is literally like a royal party in your mouth. When she requested the two flavors I knew it would work out perfectly with her theme. Pink, rose gold, white, and gold! Great color combo! Now, remember I told you I was booked right? I had a two-tier Paw Patrol cake, a Minnie Mouse smash cake, and 4 dozen cupcakes! Well, she added another 3 layers of cake, a dozen Rice Krispie treats, and a dozen cookies along with a full decor set up. Keep in mind I work 40hrs a week! (Pats self on the back. I’m feeling like Wonder Woman!)
Nevertheless, I was able to pull off a cake that’s fit for a Princess, Princess Mandy that is. Thanks to my sister Sabrina (who is behind the scenes a lot doing all of the little things to make sure I don’t lose my mind) and Chloe (who is my photography helper) for all the help with this one!
Check out some pictures of the process!

Blank Rice Krispies

I added a touch of Rose Gold Edible Art Paint to the sides to give it a little more color.

Perfectly piped rosettes! Check out my paint-brush and paint ready for their turn in the back lol!

Finished cookies!

This cake was Huge! Getting the strawberries and white chocolate drip ready!

Grand Finale!!! A cake fit for a royal Princess!
